Poetry at Redwood Cafe
We regularly host poetry events at the cafe. These events are coordinated by Geri DiGiorno, Sonoma County Poet Laureate (2006-2007) and artist. She is founder and director of the Petaluma Poetry Walk, an annual literary event celebrating its 17th anniversary this year. Her books include I'm Tap Dancing (1992), Marilyn and Me (1998), White Lipstick (2005 - Redhen Press), Rosetta Mary (2007 - dPress), Petaluma Poetry Walk - 10 Year Anthology, 1995-2005 (edited by Geri Digiorno and Bil Vartnaw, published by Petaluma Poetry Walk Press.) A collage by Geri is on the cover of Raleigh Review, Vol. 2, 2011-2012, which including 9 of her collages and one poem in the issue.

Smooth Toad is a poet, actor, musician, & founder of the legendary theatrical company, The Blake Street Hawkeyes, his play The Changer was recently produced by Alter Theater in San Rafael.
Pamela Stone Singer's book Teaching Compassion was published in 1999 by the Latham Foundation for the promotion of Huame Education. It instructs educators & parents in ways to teach compassion, respect, and responsibility to children through their remarkable relationships with animals.
