    Debra's Pop Up Jam gives musicians an opportunity to come together in the true spirit of collaboration.

    The house band; drums, keys or guitar and bass are experienced musicians who ground the event and allow the magic to happen. We are open to all ages, and there is no cover...we only ask that you purchase food or drink and tip the house band!

    Please note: video recording limited to 30 second clips. We respect the professionalism of all involved.

    "Hailing from Sonoma County, Oddjob Ensemble performs a myriad of musical styles and collaborates with perfomance artists in Vaudevillian shows, musical theater, and the avant-garde. The Ensemble, led by Kalei Yamanoha, is a trio that is comprised of trap kit, string bass and accordion. Dancing to energizing early jazz numbers, listening to ethereal folk music and stomping to raucous overtures, the crowd will have their ears twisted into a delicious musical pretzel."

    This band features nuggets of psychedelic and other great music performed with the spirit and passion of the 60's.

    Meet the Band:

    Doug Meador (lead vocals, keys and guitar) hit the L.A. live music and recording scene after college, performing and/or recording with members of Steppenwolf, The Edgar Winter Group, The Eric Burdon Band, Ian Hunter Band, Sparks, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others. He has appeared on a major movie soundtrack, national TV and, performing his original songs, on the Bay Area's KRON-4 TV.

    Jim Cassero (lead guitar and vocals) honed his guitar skills in the San Francisco hard rock scene of the early 80's, playing Bill Graham's famed Old Waldorf and Wolfgang’s nightclubs as well as The Stone in SF and Berkeley. He has warmed stages for the likes of Motley Crüe, Ted Nugent and Night Ranger, and is currently recording with Howard Wales (Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia).

    Kenny Susan, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, has played and toured the U.S. and Europe with a wide variety of bands including 60's icon Lester Chambers, The Dawson/Tate Band, Ashley Levy, Linda Ferro, and the Sorentinos (who shared the stage with major artists Chris Isaak, Chicago, Peter Frampton and a host of others).

    WCS offers focus, feedback, collaboration, contacts, networking and support through their monthly competitions at 15 locations throughout California with one in Portland Oregon.

    Manager/host is Singer songwriter Jan White who managed the WCS Northbay chapter in Millvalley and Petaluma for eight years. She has returned after a hiatus and is excited about having the Cotati chapter at the Redwood Café.

Since his start in the 90s on Chicago’s West Side with blues singer Taildragger, he has become a leading blues attraction throughout the United States and Europe. He’s been featured in major media outlets such as The Chicago Tribune, WGN’s After Hours with Rick Kogan, The Illinois Times, and KPFA’s Blues by the Bay. Rockin Johnny is a Delmark recording artist with 6 cds to his credit, including his latest critically acclaimed release, “Greetings from Greaseland”.
